Rules
During the Show :
Please remember that this is live comedy. This is not a video. Please respect the acts and keep noise and disruption to a minimum. You wouldn't sit and chat at the cinema or theatre so please treat our club the same.
The main bar will shut while the acts are on stage.
Please keep your mobile phones either switched off or on silent.
Recording of the show is not permitted however the taking of photos is.
Heckling :
Heckling is an unfortunate part of live comedy and our acts are used to and ready for it. If you feel the need to Heckle any act, please bear in mind some important points:

Make it funny. Don't just shout abuse. You may not like the act, but everyone else is enjoying it so please do not spoil their enjoyment.

Do not be aggressive. You will be removed immediately.

You will be made to look like a fool. This is intentional. Make sure you can live with that.

If you are that funny, you should go through the proper channels and apply for our Semi-Pro night.
Respect :
Please have respect for our staff, the bar staff, comedians, other guests and our venues. We want everybody to have a safe and enjoyable evening. We put a huge effort into trying to get everything just right from the sound and lighting to the beautiful decor. Please, no matter how funny you think you are, please do not take any 'souvenirs' with you from the night. We have cctv.
Like any club, there are certain rules that we would kindly ask our guests to abide by so everybody enjoys themselves.
PLEASE SWITCH MOBILE PHONES OFF AND KEEP NOISE TO A MINIMUM DURING THE SHOWS. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
Admission :
Final admission will be 8pm. The show begins at 8.30 and under no circumstances will entry be allowed after the cut off time unless with prior arrangement and a good reason. We will not hold the show.
Admission will only be granted upon production of a valid ticket either bought from the club or online in the form of printout or digitally on your smartphone.
Each ticket will be swapped for a printed, tamper proof wristband which will be put on by the staff of The Roaring Laughter Comedy Club. This allows you to come and go freely to smoke out side etc. Entry will only be granted to people wearing wristbands. There are no exceptions. Please do not remove your wristband until you have left the venue. This is for security purposes.
These are licensed premises so every guest must be over 18 years of age (16 if accompanied by Adults).
Any underage person found to be drinking or anyone purchasing alcohol for an underage person will be removed from the venue immediately.
If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25, please bring your ID with you. This makes it easier for everybody.
